The head of Samsung smartphones announced during the 2018 CES when the expected Galaxy S9 will be presented. Receive all in this note!
DJ Koh, president of the smartphone business of the Korean brand confirmed to ZDNet that the Samsung Galaxy s9 will be presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 that will be held from February 26 until March 1.
The announcement was made during CES 2018 in Las Vegas where Cultura Geek is present. The most important technology event of the year is the main stage for brands of the highest level, which take the opportunity to publicize their high-end products, from appliances and robots, to smartphones and gadgets of all kinds.
Unlike the Samsung Galaxy s8, and s8 Plus , the new models will be released a month earlier than last year. The s8 versions were presented at an event in New York in March and put on sale during April, this allows us to presume that the Galaxy s9 will be released for sale also in the month of March. In addition, it is expected that the Galaxy s9 Plus (S9 +) will also be announced at the MWC.
Among other new Samsung phones, DJ Koh said that next year will be presenting a foldable cell that is capable of folding as a folder, or rather a wallet. This project was announced to the Korean press for this year, but according to the boss on smartphones they had complications with the user experience (UX), and are working to have a device with worthwhile interactions.
