As soon as she plucks Fifty Shades of Grey, Anastasia Steele arrives at the Greyhouse building for the first time to interview Christian Gray, she raises her head and looks at herself before that huge emblem tower of the Gray empire and nothing disguised symbolic phallus, stiff and cold attribute of the billionaire handsomeness. Maybe we should read and see 50 shades of Gray as a symptom. That is to say: with too much noise and very few nuts.
