The second season of 'This is Us' will have its finale (18th) episode this March 13 called 'The Wedding.'
The fans of the series have waited almost two seasons to discover what happened to the patriarch of the family protagonist. 'This Is Us' showed us in one of the last episodes the cause of the death of Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia), but the series continues, and the showrunner of the NBC drama talked to The Hollywood Reporter how the plots will advance in the final stage of the second season.
Isaac Aptaker, executive producer and showrunner of 'This Is Us', has described the two episodes centered on Jack's death as "the saddest we've done, it's important for us to come back with something lighter." The producer has assured that the death and the funeral of the patriarch of the Pearson has been devastating, but now they must continue, and they try to do it taking a less dramatic aspect.
The Wedding of Kate and Toby
Precisely, this Tuesday, February 27 returns the series to NBC after a break, due to the Olympic Winter Games. The return of the Pearsosn is going to be big, since the family will travel to Las Vegas, on the occasion of the bachelor party of Kate and Toby. "Things are going to get a little crazy in Las Vegas," said Aptaker, referring to the topic that surrounds that city in the United States. This trip will serve to amuse the public, showing the protagonists in some more relaxed facets, with less tragedy and more humor.
In this joint bachelor party, Kate will spend more time with Beth, her sister-in-law, and "it will help them get to know each other better and strengthen ties," says the showrunner of the series. There will also be a plot related to the family's past, which will be brought to us through flashbacks, so we can continue to enjoy Ventimiglia's presence in 'This Is Us'.
